Estimated Travel Rate:

• Gross weekly $3440 (40 hours/wk) = ($1200/wk non-taxable/stipend + $2240/wk taxable pay)
• Gross hourly $86 = ($30/hr non-taxable/stipend + $56/hr taxable pay)

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:

5 - 8 hour shifts

• The heart nurses work 5 8-hour shifts per week. They do have to come in as early as 6:00 am on regular days if they are assigned to an open heart. Otherwise, regular days start at 7:00 am.
• Call days start at 8:30 am and they remain on call until 7:00 am the next morning.
• Requirements for call, one-two week days and then 4th or 5th weekend (Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday). They do also get called out for general/trauma cases.
