HydroHoist , founded in 1964, is the world’s leading hydro-pneumatic boat lift company specializing in the manufacture, sale and service of boat lifts, power pedestals through our innovative HyPower division and other marine related products. Through our RotoMoldUSA division we manufacture our own polyethylene tanks in addition to our other marine products and custom rotational molded products.

Position Summary:

We are looking to add an Operations Assistant to join our Austin, TX facility. This position is a key part of the team that would be responsible for supporting and working directly with the Operations Manager. This position will help coordinate various services and the movement of materials or other freight utilizing standard material handling equipment for local dealers and customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily/weekly loading and unloading operations of products
  • Coordinates and inspects specified quantity and quality of shipments coming and going from the yard
  • Responsible for yard layout and inventory, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers or dealers
  • Coordinates deliveries or product pickups with to customer based on knowledge of the company’s production and delivery schedules
  • Maintain preventative maintenance plan on company vehicle
  • Completes all yard paperwork and documentation of incoming and outgoing material in a timely manner
  • Ensure good working relations with contractors and customers
  • Provide customer service and sales service
  • Maintain various office/departmental reports and as assigned
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
  • Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and product literature up to date
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
  • Travel to, attend and work trade shows as needed
  • Assists in creating and maintaining files on all Contract Installation crews and providers of company product.

Qualifications/Education:

  • High Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn customized software and products quickly
  • Positive “Customer First” attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity
  • Team-oriented customer service spirit with a passion to learn in a fast-paced, goal/deadline-driven atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
