Position Title: First Shift Operations Lead

Program: Electric Vehicle Charger Manufacturing

Reports to: General Manager

Supervises: Electronic Assemblers

Type: Full-Time

Pay: $21.50/hr. - $24.00/hr.

Eligible for annual merit increases and monthly performance bonuses.

Job Overview

Responsible for coordinating and conducting daily electronics assembly and production, while leading team members in work-flow and procedures to achieve production efficiency and goals. Follow Dunamis Charge operational procedures and monitor business activities and suggest improvements to optimize. This role assists management with reports, staffing, defining team member daily assignments, identifying training opportunities, and communication with other company departments. Specific duties will include (but not limited to):

· Manage shipping/receiving, inventory and material handling.

· Perform electronics and hardware assembly across multiple workstations.

· Perform End-of-line test procedures and validation.

· Manage pack-out procedures.

Requirements:

· Experience leading direct touch labor in a manufacturing, final assembly & test, or warehousing and distribution environment, either through direct people management or project based leadership roles

· Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or electo-mechanical sub-assembly or assembly processes

· Demonstrated safety focused behaviors

· Familiarity with basic manufacturing principals, processes, and tools, including mechanical and electromechanical assembly & test processes, process capability, first pass yield, line balancing, process documentation, manufacturing data collection, and quality management systems (QMS)

· Experience with logistics & material handling processes and best practices

· Experience with manufacturing process development and/or execution

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

· Must be able to walk distances up to ¼ mile on a regular basis

· Must be able to lift, bend, twist, stand, walk, push, and pull

· Exposure to cold, hot, loud, and manufacturing facility environment.

Schedule:

· 8 hour shift

· Day shift

· Monday to Friday
