Growing client in the Pasadena, TX area is NOW HIRING for an Operations Manager to add to their team!

This company is a leader in the transportation industry and is seeking an Operations Manager who can assist with overseeing personnel and day-to-day operating functions.

The Operations Manager role is managing the S&D operations and ensuring the planning, dispatch and drayage departments operate, safely and efficiently to meet stakeholders’ satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Maximize the performance of the site by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities.
• Providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce.
• Executing against Customer requirements; and operational performance.
• Site production is approximately 220 containers a day.

Requirements - Onsite transportation/logistics experience. Must have High volume transportation experience.

Will oversee approximately 150 employees including a fleet of approx. 90. Drayage transports containers of packaging pellets to the Port.

5+ years related supervisory experience

Internal Challenge – Leadership change. Strong leadership skills required to mentor and build team environment. Must be able to interface effectively and coordinate with Operations’ managers and client representatives.

Reporting Relationship: Both Operations Managers report into the Deputy Site Manager who reports into the Site Manager.

Salary commensurate with experience. Target $70-$100k.
