Multi-Specialty ophthalmology practice in Eatontown, NJ is seeking an enthusiastic Ophthalmic Refractive Technician to work full time. The ideal candidate would possess a positive attitude, that enjoys working with people, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist in office refractive surgical procedures such as LASIK and PRK.
- Assist patients with drops, questions, or concerns.
- Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
- Obtaining a concise patient history.
- Recording visual acuity.
- Performing manifest refractions.
- Obtaining IOP measurements.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including but not limited to OCT, VF, Pentacam, Lenstar, and Fundus photos.
Qualifications:
- Experience with refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK.
- Strong Refractometry Skills.
- Allegretto Wave Laser Certification.
- C.O.A/ C.O.T certification.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be willing to travel between offices.
