Earn while you learn! We have a full training program for all of our technician trainees. Nationally recognized ophthalmology office seeks a bright, enthusiastic person to learn diagnostic procedures and assist with patient care. This is a full-time position with a 2 year minimum commitment. The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree, preferably in health sciences, and a strong interest in a career in medicine, public health or other healthcare services.

Our technicians receive both practical and theoretical training, including hands-on patient care. The teaching atmosphere and strong team spirit make this a great working and learning environment. Our office is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just one block from a Metro stop and only two blocks from Washington, D.C.

We use the most advanced technology to provide subspecialty care in glaucoma, retina, cornea and diseases of the external eye, laser vision correction (LASIK), cataract surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and oculoplastic surgery. Required: Four Year College Degree (please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement).

Experience in a healthcare setting is helpful, but not required. Customer service experience is a plus.

Salary: Training salary starts at $16/hour (increase from previous rate) and increases every six months.
