RR Donnelley has an Operations Clerk 2 position open at our Temecula plant.
- Perform routine but varied clercial duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures.
- Provide clercial support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents.
- Maintain records, compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and performing routine clercial tasks related to manufacturing.
- Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions.
- May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests.
- Responsible for maintaining department files.
- May assist with production planning and special projects.
Required Skills
- Reads and understands internal job instructions, shipping methods, and procedures.
- Revises and implements new procedures for account(s)/project(s)
- Communicates with customers, sales, customer service, and production leads as necessary, consistent follow-up
- Maintains accurate paperwork, records, counts, and log notes. Properly filing kitting manifests and providing accurate shift turnovers and instructions
- Manages production planning, pricing, reporting, inventory management, resolving issues and invoicing
- Monitors supplies for assigned accounts/projects and communicates reorders to Warehouse Coordinator
- High standard for quality and service to customers, both internal and external
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic reasoning skills
- Performance of simple math calculations
- Reading and comprehending simple instructions in English
- Writing intelligible English sentences
- Knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes to successfully execute and complete the more progressive/complex duties of the job
- Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and impact work has on department or company
- Requires good knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact with while completing daily work assignments of the job
- Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others
- Must be able to work in a strong team environment, be flexible and supportive
Required Experience
- 3 - 5 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job
- Knowledge of computers and software programs such as: Gmail, Word, Excel, WBS, and WCSS/GUI. Able to create and maintain basic spreadsheets in Excel
- Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task effectively
Pay range for this position is $19.50 to $20.50 per hour; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
