The Optical program will train incarcerated individuals with the necessary knowledge and skill level needed to meet the highest possible standards for Optical program. In return CALPIA provides training for a skilled workforce in the private sector upon release, reducing the potential for recidivism.

The PIA is looking to fill an Industrial Supervisor for the Optical programposition at Valley State Prison. The Industrial Supervisor is responsible for working inside a prison directly with incarcerated individuals instructing, leading, and providing Instruction to assist with Optical manufacturing.
