Northeast Eye Center was founded in March of 2004 by Dr. Michelle L. Martinez.
Dr. Martinez is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated with Honors in 2002. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Notre Dame where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995.
Northeast Eye Center's mission is to improve lives through better vision. We do this by sourcing the best products available for our patients and work with multiple vendors to source the best product for each individual patients need. There is no cookie cutter solution for better vision.

Northeast Eye Center is seeking a full time Optometrist. We are a small full scope therapeutic optometry practice based in Hurst, Texas located between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Our practice is growing in Hurst and this is a terrific opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded Optometrist. Dr. Martinez has worked in the Hurst area for over 14 years and has built her practice and reputation by taking her time and educating patients. Our office, while small, has always been on the cutting edge when it comes to medical and vision care. Northeast Eye Center was the first in Hurst to have a Zeiss HD OCT in 2010. The practice was also the first in Texas to have a Zeiss Visuphor digital phoropter. We are also the first practice in Hurst to have a Marco OPD Scan III.
Our office offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded Optometrist to come into an established practice and build new patient relationships of their own. At Northeast Eye Center our mission is to improve patient lives through better vision. Our Vision is to bring value to our patients while meeting all of their vision needs. Our fully trained staff will support the new Optometrist in all aspects of their work with one exception, the eye exam. The time in the exam lane is strictly between the OD and their patient.
The Ideal Candidate:
The Optometrist should be self-motivated, entrepreneurial minded, and a hard worker. The goal of the candidate should be to improve the patient experience and help grow the practice. Our office is a small community, and everyone has an integral role. With proper motivation, the OD will be able to grow their patient base and expand their role in our practice.
Job Details and Benefits:
Our office is currently open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
