Job Title: OR Circulator, Operating Room in Clarkston, WA
Job Summary:
The OR Circulator will work in the operating room at our medical facility in Clarkston, WA. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that the surgical team has everything they need during operations. The OR Circulator will work closely with other members of the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and prepare the operating room before surgeries
- Assist in positioning the patient for surgery
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working condition
- Help the surgical team to prepare for the operation, including handing instruments to the surgeon
- Monitor the patient's vital signs during the operation and report any changes to the surgical team
- Maintain an accurate record of the surgery
- Assist in transferring the patient to the recovery room
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current nursing license in the state of Washington
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Good time management and organizational skills
