Incumbents of the ChildWatch Staff are responsible for supervising children participating in the Child Watch program. The incumbent provides high quality recreational experiences for children that focus on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring. Essential Functions Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized. Responsible for the safety and well being of all ChildWatch participants. Must keep accurate head counts of the group at all times. Assist children but not limited to washing hands, using the restroom, picking up belongings, assist with snacks and packing or unpacking of belongings. Insure parents/guardians comply with the drop off and pick up procedures. Complete incident reports when needed.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with school aged children.

Physical Demands:

Lead and participate in recreation activities which may include running, throwing and kicking. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. in program equipment, tables, etc.

Pay Rate: $10 plus Free Staff membership

Work Dates and Times: Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings 9-11am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
