Position Title: Order Picker – 1st or 2nd Shift
Wage: $15.50/hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm (Monday – Friday) or 4:00pm – 12:00am (Monday – Thursday)
We have a great entry level order picking position in Des Moines, IA for you! This company uses top of the line equipment to make picking and packing orders a breeze. Using a headset, you'll be able to sweep around the warehouse with ease grabbing orders in record time!
- Pick orders by gathering items throughout warehouse to prepare for packaging
- Place card packages and other small items into boxes to be shipped out
- Assemble orders
- Place box through automated industrial machine that cuts box open
- Inspect product and separate into designated area
- Unpack and sort returned product into designated area
- Previous order picking experience preferred
- Able to perform repetitive motion tasks
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to bend, reach and twist throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Strong attention to detail
