We are seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate for this position should be detail-oriented, communicative, efficient, and able to solve problems. They should be comfortable working with different systems and have a strong understanding of customer purchase orders and quotes.

This is a full-time, remote position- US based. The work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30a -5:30p Eastern time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain the electronic order queue.
• Vet orders for errors and upload them to a designated drive.
• Enter orders accurately and in a timely manner from different areas, including Exostar, Emails and Purchase Orders.
• Compare customer purchase orders to quotes or perform manual entry when necessary.
• Verify customer account details, ensure accurate order entry, verify line numbers and pricing, and ensure that the order contains all the necessary information to process it correctly.
• Check inventory levels and adjust orders accordingly.
• Communicate with the Inside Sale Reps and or customers about any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in order processing, order entry, or similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to vet orders for errors.
• A strong understanding of customer purchase orders and quotes with the ability to compare to ensure accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with the Inside Sales Reps, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively manage your time to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to work collaboratively with others in the team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think on your feet, and address discrepancies or issues promptly.
