We are looking for professional, high-performance, and experienced drivers to join our Regional team of drivers out of Lake Charles, LA.

Responsibilities

• New 2023 26' Box Truck Fleet, driver operates and completes pre/post trip inspections.
• Dock and Lift Gate off load of materials at each stop.
• Inspect freight, take pictures, and upload BOLs for each delivery.
• Meet customer delivery specifications, policies, and procedures.
• Report all incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage to WML Manager.
• Notify Dispatch of any issues that arise during route.
• Follow routes, time schedules, and end-of-day delivery documentation process.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and housekeeping rules.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Skills

• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Must be able to operate applications and mobile devices.
• Must be focused on customer service and demonstrate excellent communication.
• Must be responsive to calls/texts and demonstrate attention to details.
• Ability to work and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Ability to manage and meet scheduled deadlines.
• Ability to use hand (pallet jack, dolly, straps) and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to install appliance units.
• Able to use ELD (Electronic Log Device).
• Able to learn new skills.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (operating a vehicle between 16,000 to 26,000 lbs).
• Must be able to pass criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass drug screening test.
• Must be able to enter military bases.
• Must have ability to enter airport authorities.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be willing to obtain one.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to follow safety, DOT and FMSCA Rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Must be able to work independently, manage time, and appropriately meet deadlines.
• Clean MVR (Willing to accept one no-fault accident on record within last 3 yrs).
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have ability to adapt to changes and handle unexpected situations.
• Must have a positive attitude and growth mindset.
• Previous driver-delivery experience is required.
