Euclid Beverage LLC in North Aurora is hiring a Freight Driver

Euclid Beverage is the largest Miller Coors distributor in Illinois. We currently distribute brands from over 65 domestic, craft and import suppliers of beer, wine and spirits. Our 2 state-of-the-art facilities services more than 4,000 retail customers in 25 counties across the state of Illinois. We provide seamless sales, marketing and distribution opportunities for the top domestic, craft and specialty beverage suppliers.

Based in North Aurora IL, you’ll be transporting freight using our company-owned tractor trailers on regular routes

This is a full-time position with dedicated routes (IL/WI). Home every day, with Monday - Friday schedule (4pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Transport loads safely, responsibly and efficiently while ensuring the integrity of product, the care of equipment and the safety of public.
• Maintain DOT compliance; obey all laws and rules of the road. Adhere to the Contract, Euclid Policy and State and Federal Regulations.
• Utilize the methods and practices of the WMS when coordinating and delivering loads
• Work with the Managers to maximize productivity based on expected shipments, load requirements, brewery schedule
• Ensure product is loaded according to supplier standards
• Maintain general condition and care of equipment. Document damage, wear or mechanical issues
• Report and document all accidents, damage to appropriate manager. Assist in investigating incidents
• Contribute recommendations any changes in procedures that would improve the productivity of the freight operations, which may require employing new types of equipment, processes or technology.

Requirements include:

• Prior route and/or freight delivery and tractor trailer experience required
• Maintain certification to operate all equipment
• Maintain current CDL Class A license and insurability as required by the company and associated agencies.
