POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced OTR tire tech to perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on customer vehicles of all sizes (in the shop or on the road),fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis and other duties as needed on Truck, Farm and OTR equipment.

JOB DUTIES

• Capable of operating a hand truck or mini-boom truck
• Fleet inspections.
• Scrap tire analysis.
• Assist other tire technicians in performing tire repair and general service.
• Insure that service truck, all tools and equipment are in good operating condition.

• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day
• Check all fluid levels in truck and air compressor during pre-trip inspection.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out).
• Perform jobs using proper and safe procedures at all times.
• Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain equipment in good working order. Notify manager immediately of defects
• Qualifications:
• Must have a clean driving record with less than 3 violations in the past 3 years
• CDL
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen

• Previous OTR and farm experience

Occupational Demands:

• Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-100 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
• Operate forklift as required with proper certification.
• Frequent bending, twisting and lifting.
• Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations.
