The Outpatient Therapist will be involved with our adult Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Partial hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs are offered for patients as part of the treatment continuum. These programs offer a safe, structured environment while enabling the patient to return or remain at home to maintain important family and community relationships.

Position Details:
  • Responsible for providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Ensures accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Supervision may be provided for independent licensure if PRN provides ongoing assistance with program coverage.
  • Specific assignments will be determined on an ongoing basis to assist with the growth and coverage needed in our outpatient programs. PRN needs can be both weekdays and weekends. Available to meet the needs of weekday and weekend needs a plus.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree Required, with clinical licensure. (LSW, LPC, MFT)
  • Independent licensure preferred. (LISW, LPCC, IMFT)
  • At least 2 years of experience providing crisis intervention, mental health and/or substance use treatment.
  • Ability to interface with a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Proven capacity to provide both professional and compassion communication.
  • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Suite programs, (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable utilizing a variety of data base systems and other online platforms used to reference, track and access data related to patient care.

Experience:

  • Prior work with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
