Our Tek Stainless Piping Products (TEK)-Northeast location in Randolph, MA is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our exceptional team. This position is responsible for the geographic territory of South Carolina and travel throughout the state would be required. Summary of Position

The Outside Sales Representative/Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and increasing sales in the physical territory and product markets as assigned by Tek Stainless Piping Products. This should be done by managing key, target, and growth accounts while seeking new opportunities to ensure annual growth targets. The Outside Sales Representative/Sales Engineer must be innovative in determining and developing approaches to the growth of top-line sales. The geographic territory assigned to this position is South Carolina.

Responsibilities and Duties

The following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Outside Sales Representative. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to adjustments as the needs of the organization's requirements.

  • Increase sales and provide support for the current customer base within the assigned territories, including key, target, and growth accounts.
  • Actively visit and communicate with companies within the assigned territory to promote new growth.
  • Entertain current and potential customers to ensure annual growth.
  • Perform weekly quote follow-ups in support of Sales team efforts.
  • Execute sales plans and strategies developed by the Business Unit Manager for new and core products.
  • Assist in research, identification, and implementation of new products, customers, and programs to enhance annual profitability.
  • Communicate with Inside Sales, Application Engineering, and Vendors as needed.
  • Provide call reports and vendor reports to the Business Unit Manager daily via entry into the CRM.
  • Timely submission of expense reports and other departmental expenses to the General Manager for approval.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of sales experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
  • Marketing experience, ensuring the ability to recognize opportunities
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with customers/suppliers
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated
  • Creative, forward thinker
  • Valid state driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related area
  • Four or more years of experience in sales and marketing
