David Toms Academy is a small business in Shreveport, LA. Our goal is to Provide optimal customer service to Members and Guests. Attempt to anticipate and fulfill customer needs in a variety of responsibilities as assigned which may include work in Cart Barn, Equipment Room, and/or Course/Range..

Primary Purpose - Provide optimal customer service to Members and Guests. Attempt to anticipate and fulfill customer needs in a variety of responsibilities as assigned which may include work in Cart Barn, Equipment Room, and/or Course/Range.

Essential Functions

1. Treat all members, guests, and employees with respect. Maintain friendly appearance; greet Members and Guests by name with a smile.

2. Ensure clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.

3. Maintain cleanliness of work area.

4. Keep Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Notify management if replacement is needed.

5. Practice Range – sample tasks include:

* Set stations with balls as described in the Operations Manual.

* Attend range throughout the day maintaining cleanliness.

* Clean golf clubs.

* Assist members with carrying clubs from parking lot to range

* Pick up and break down range.

* Bring Member golf bags to golf cart or range

* Load and unload golf bags in/out of vehicles.

6. Cart Barn/Equipment Room – sample tasks include:

* Stage golf carts

* Maintain staging area, driving range, and practice area set-up.

* Clean and maintain golf carts and cart barn area.

* Pick up golf balls as well as sort, wash and bag balls

* Carry out marshalling duties.

7. Ranger – sample tasks include:

* Report golf course play situation to the golf shop staff at regular intervals.

* Repair ball marks and fix divots as needed.

* Check water and ice stations and restock supplies as needed.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

• Shreveport, LA 71115: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
