A Lincoln Park condominium high-rise community with nearly 300 units is hiring a customer service-oriented individual for an overnight door person position. Schedule is Friday-Monday, 12am-8am.

Starting hourly salary is $18.35/hour, full union scale. The ideal candidate is will have excellent customer service skills, an ability to multitask efficiently and has a positive, hardworking and professional attitude. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to efficiently work with minimal supervision, being that this is an overnight roll you will be the eyes and ears within the building without other staff present.

This job will consist of, but is not limited to the following:

· Greet and identify residents and guests of the building.

· Distribute packages to residents as requested.

· Monitor security cameras and protocols within and around the property.

· Lock/unlock doors within the building.

· Multi-task with answering phones, intercom and computer systems simultaneously.

· Handle confidential situations professionally and refrain from sharing resident information with other residents and guests.

· Able to respond effectively to emergency situations.

· Respond to residents’ requests in an accurate and timely manner and call the proper department as requests are given.

· Issue keys as needed to residents, and maintain an organized log of keys going in and out.

· Basic computer literacy: working with tablets, apps, computers, etc.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills necessary to complete tasks and work independently.

Experience:

Work history with an experience in hospitality, customer service or residential property industries preferred.

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift packages and equipment up to 50 pounds.

This is an SEIU Local 1 Position with benefits and paid training. Candidates are required to become a union member.
