Packaging Design Engineer
Hybrid NJ
- Implement packaging design, material, or process change
- Assess manufacturability of new packaging designs, development of packaging processes, selection and justification of the appropriate capital equipment and changes to existing packaging designs and processes
- BS degree in Packaging or related engineering field is required. Master’s degree, strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Packaging experience is expected, and medical device industry experience is preferred
- Certified Packaging Professional through the Institute of Packaging Professionals is preferred
- Knowledge of the following standards: ISO 13485, ISO 11607, and ISO 14971
- Knowledge and understanding of packaging test methods/standards and related test equipment pertaining to Medical Device Packaging
- Design verification and validation

Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
