Job description
Summary: The Packaging Engineer must be able to provide innovative packaging solutions in a timely manner for the packaging of large equipment/components to national and international customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and design solutions for packaging equipment and accessories for shipping.
- Follow direction of the management team to ensure proper design protocols and procedures are followed.
- Effectively communicate reasoning behind design decisions.
- Remain up to date on new packaging trends, materials and technology.
- Create, administer and implement Engineering Change Requests.
- Maintain a task schedule and hold deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the design of packaging for national and international shipping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
