Packer- 1st and 2nd shift Part time & Full time available
Job description
We are immediately looking to fill a high number of Packer positions in our Fort Mill SC, facility. These positions are responsible for identifying and properly packing, physically and systematically, the merchandise ready to be sent to various Ross stores. The position does consist of pushing boxes that are over 50 lbs constantly throughout the shift.
You’ll be cross trained in another position as part of your regular job duties. You’ll also be eligible for Shift Differentials (up to $3/hour) and a production bonus that is very achievable. Pay is $14.50 PLUS Shift Differentials on 2nd and 3rd shift. Up to $16 an hour for 2nd shift.
Basic Qualifications: ·
- Pull merchandise from chutes into empty cartons so it may be packed out
- Close, tape and push out loaded cartons of merchandise to shipping line
- Scan and apply shipping labels to cartons
- Distribute merchandise evenly into partially filled cartons
- Open new shipping cartons and place into chute drop zone
- Maintain clean, orderly and safe work environment
- Carton Load Function: Loading Cartons into conveyor belt
- Able to lift/push a minimum of 50lbs+ (boxes)
- Stand 100% of shift
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, squat, reach and kneel
- Ability to learn to use an RF Gun
