Job description

Essex Media Group produces multiple publications, which currently includes a daily newspaper, 24/7 news website, three weekly newspapers, a twice-monthly Spanish-language newspaper, a monthly real estate publication, three quarterly glossy lifestyle magazines and a quarterly golf magazine.

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer who will be responsible for the design and page layout/pagination of the Daily Item newspaper and the weekly newspapers. In addition to page design, we are looking for someone who has knowledge and experience laying out print material, specifically publications. Work closely with sales team to produce advertisements. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Must have advanced skills with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of Wordpress and web design skills required. Experience with Constant Contact also a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,000.00 per year
