Job description
Intermountain Lift, Inc. A specialized steel fabrication shop that fabricates amusement rides for Six Flags, Universal Studios, Disney, Busch Gardens, Lagoon and parks all over the world is hiring for the position of Painter to work in our shop in Springville.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
- Maintaining paint Equipment
Skills
- Proven experience as a painter
- Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
- Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
- Good basic math skills
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
- Knowledge of industrial paint process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Springville, UT 84663: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Painting, Coating & Spraying Machine Operators: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
