Full-time, Hourly
Hourly Rate: $35.94/hr

Job Summary
This position is responsible for painting, decorating and finishing surfaces to protect, preserve and enhance the Department assets as well as ensuring quality service and product delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of Department assets for building code compliance & maintenance needs.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on buildings and structures including, but not limited to, painting, graffiti removal, staining, finishing, wallpaper, and sandblasting.
- Process purchase requests, inventory supplies and work orders.
- Review blueprints, building codes and technical manuals.
- Assist with project management and the maintenance of logs to ensure relevant safety codes and regulations are followed.
- Inspect and maintain all equipment (vehicle, heavy machinery) and tools related to the performance of job duties.
- Participate in special project teams and perform community outreach efforts as well as marketing and communication efforts.
- Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment (vehicle, heavy machinery), hand and power tools.
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current residency within the State of Wisconsin upon application required
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required and must be maintained throughout incumbency
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least five (5) years or more of experience as a Recognized Journeyman Painter required
- A completion of a State of Wisconsin approved related field apprenticeship program preferred
