Responsibilities
Responsible for researching customer accounts, providing information regarding account activities, issuing parking permits, monitoring and maintaining permit inventories, assisting customers with the completion of necessary forms, assisting customers with online services, processing customer payments, reconciling shift activities, and addressing customer questions and concerns.
Responsible for providing customer service support as well as information concerning university parking and transportation policies, procedures and regulations to the campus community (e.g., faculty, staff, and students) and visitors. Provide assistance to walk-in customers, as well as customers contacting Transportation and Parking Services via email, regular mail, or telephone.
Responsible for reconciling ROVR search matches, and assigning responsible parties to Accounts Receivable. Responsible for researching unidentified parking accounts through DMV systems. Responsible for processing parking citations and other customer service issues. Serves as backup for daily deposit reconciliation reports and to the Transportation Violation Appeals Board.
Serves as radio dispatcher for Campus Parking Patrollers regarding all concerns including (but not limited to): vehicle citation histories, parking permit checks, vehicle booting and towing, relaying parking and transportation related safety and security concerns, assisting with customer questions/concerns, and parking regulation questions.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to utilize problem solving skills.
knowledge of applicable computer applications inclusive of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions.
Knowledge of University facilities and parking infrastructure.
Knowledge of collection and/or cash handling procedures and ability to perform monetary transactions
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of University facilities and parking infrastructure.
