Part-time Bilingual Receptionist/Student Intake Specialist

CAMBA needs a professional with front-desk work experience to receive and register evening applicants at its Education Center, located at 955 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, N.Y. The in-person work schedule is 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. It is required that candidates have at least a High School or a High School Equivalent diploma. We need candidates who can be on time regularly, who enjoy helping people in need, who can type fast and accurately (at least 25 words per minute), who have excellent computer skills, and who are proficient at using Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Outlook, and Excel). Candidates who, in addition to English, speak another language (French, Haitian Creole, or Spanish) are highly preferred.

Compensation: $20 per hour
Status: Part-time (3 hours per day)

CAMBA is a City contractor that provides services where employees can be expected to physically interact with members of the public. All CAMBA staff are subject to the City’s October 21, 2021 COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate, whether they have direct involvement with members of the public, or they support others who have direct involvement.

All new hires must provide proof of vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, unless they have been granted a reasonable accommodation for religious or medical reasons.
