FEFA, LLC is currently seeking a PART TIME Remote Community Moderator to temporarily assist with increasing engagement, membership, and overall satisfaction. Will be responsible for reviewing and recommending improvements to processes, tools, and techniques to assist with improving time to market and reducing platform friction.

This position is temporary and may not extend beyond 60 days. Period of work to be determined at time of hire.

Core hours are 10am-2pm Eastern time.

Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00/hourly

Compensation is based on several factors including experience, skills, and education.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Lead and foster useful community discussions
• Work with a community leader to hold and take meeting notes
• Communication skills to encourage active participation in facilitated conversations with engaged members
• Foster a professional and cohesive environment where appropriate dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and exchange of views can be portrayed
• Recognize varying levels of comfort and experience among members on their use of online platforms and social media. If an individual is showing hardship with a platform, seek to understand why
• Compare and contrast discussion experiences between the different assigned communities to learn their uniqueness and ways to improve the dialogue
• Participate in peer review of communities and assessment findings with the intent of monitoring and discussing increases or decreases to the platform in comparison to non-facilitated timeframes from the same community
• Provide support to the community by ensuring the appropriate data and information flows cohesively and responds to critical review comments
• Create and administer events and surveys along with processing the responses
• Provide recommendations to existing materials and suggestions for additional content
• Taking the initiative to understand the value drivers of the community leader and users to improve satisfaction and loyalty
• Improving customer experience by reimaging the design process. Understanding how each department collaborates and design a community that supports the users, inspires the employees, and makes sound business sense
• Assist with achieving greater satisfaction with the users experience by working collaboratively with the community
• Run a series of focus events to explore the users’ understanding of the communities features and whether they are structured in the best format to support the community’s needs.
• Gain reaction to new Drupal communities as they progress in development
• Submit monthly progress reports outlining the progression of the plan

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 8-10 years of related experience.
• Expert experience in functionality, building, and supporting a community.
• Proficiency with Drupal, HTML, Python, PHP, CSS, JAVA and C++.
• Knowledge and working experience with online communities such as discord, reddit and/or others highly desired.
• DoD or Government experience would be beneficial but not required.
• Facilitator certification would be favorable but not required.
• Gaming experience (creating, editing, or testing the software and/or graphics) would be helpful but not required.
• Ability to navigate and manipulate graphics and/or AI would be helpful.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
