Overview:
Blackhawk Technical College does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
Seeking to identify qualified trainers to facilitate corporate training to industry partners in the area of OSHA 10 and 30 Training. This will be hands on training in accordance with OSHA compliance. Training will be held at college campus or industry partner locations. Training opportunities will be periodic based on industry contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction for assigned training sessions.
- Design effective training sessions including building education material that is current in both content and mode of delivery, and aligns with employer/community needs as reflected within the contract.
- Create a classroom environment that is respectful of diversity and demonstrates a commitment to multiculturalism.
- Remain current on developments in the teaching field so that instruction is delivered for a variety of learning styles, uses the latest supportive technology and utilizes alternative delivery methods.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness/Team Skills. Report on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness. Demonstrate flexibility, excellent team player skills, and strong rapport-building skills.
- Support participants in achieving skills development and training goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in related area of instruction or 7 years of related work experience.
- OSHA 10/30 General Industry Authorized.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Previous training or teaching experience desired.
