Ultradent, the global name in oral health is seeking a Microbiologist to join Ultradent's OLM division’s Microbiology team. As a microbiologist, you will report to the OLM QC Microbiology Team Leader.

The microbiologist will be responsible for performing tests for the microbiology lab and performing environmental monitoring testing for the manufacturing areas of the business.

Job Duties:

• Test raw materials, bulk intermediates, finished goods and stability samples for quality attributes following applicable SOPs and test methods.
• Perform Environmental Monitoring testing
• Review data and prepare reports
• Use and maintain laboratory equipment
• Perform laboratory investigations

What we’re looking for in you:

• Understanding of aseptic techniques
• Understanding of good laboratory and documentation practices in relation to GMP
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Technical writing skills
• Strong organization skills
• Understanding of laboratory testing processes
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Excel
• Intermediate math skills

What you will need to succeed:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in microbiology
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a life science discipline (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biology, Medical Laboratory Sciences)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.58 per hour
