Position Summary:
Provides customer service and sales to parts customers, including all departments within the dealership; pulls parts for customer delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists parts customers in selecting required parts. Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials.
- Answers customer questions, providing price quotes and other pertinent parts information.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary. Notifies the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Sets up orders for delivery or pick-up.
Education and Work Experience:
- Prefer previous parts, inventory and parts software experience; but not necessary.
- Prefer previous direct customer contact experience.
