Job Description
The Parts Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Assures proper control of parts inventory and other related administrative functions.
Parts Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk
- Count, weigh and measure items on all incoming and outgoing shipments then verify information against invoices
- Determine best method of shipment for customer
- Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Maintain receiving and shipping records and returned parts records
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate with all parties to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet expectations
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Must be able to operate typical warehouse machinery
- Other duties as assigned
Parts Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Previous experience preferred- Must have a professional appearance, computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening
