Job description
We are seeking a PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT in Stevens Point, WI at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital who provides anatomic pathology services under the supervision of a pathologist.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Science and completion of Pathologist Assistant or equivalent from a NAACLS accredited program.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
LICENSURE REQUIRED
- Pathologist Assistant certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
Hours
- 1.0 full-time, 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
- Will rotate every 3rd/4th weekend
