L.O. Eye Care is seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator in our East Lansing, MI location. Interested candidates must work well with others, show leadership qualities, organizational and time management skills, a positive attitude and dependability. On the job training skills provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Registers patients, collecting appropriate data in a time efficient manner. Directs patients to correct location for a continuation of care. Helps complete a patient visit by collecting charges, copayments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.

01. Customer Service experience required
02. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
03. Type 50 WPM
04. Previous medical office experience desired but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Ability to work at a fast pace. 2. Advanced manual dexterity required. 3. Ability to physically assist patients as necessary. 4. Ability to work 90% of day on feet standing and/or walking. 5. Ability to clearly see doctors, staff and patients within clinic proximity. 6. Ability to hear normal volume speech. 7. Ability to document legibly in patient chart. 8. All L.O. Eye Care employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
