The role helps 4Rivers Equipment succeed by gaining new customers and promoting repeat business by consistently providing high quality support and solutions. This position will support 4Rivers Equipment customers in Colorado and New Mexico.
The qualified candidate may base of our
Albuquerque, Pueblo West or Colorado Springs locations.

Duties and Tasks:
- Business Development
- Establish and cultivate relationships with customers in asphalt and concrete paving industries
- Coordinate 4Sight Solutions presence at industry relevant events such as trade shows and industry association sponsored activities
- Establish and cultivate relationships with organizations such as CDOT, NMDOT and other organizations that create policy affecting our industries
- Maintain relationships with OEM dealers to capture business when Topcon technology is requested by their customers
- Technical Responsibilities
- Complete required supplier training as assigned, to stay current with the latest and greatest product updates
- Keep customers informed of updates to products they’ve purchased, so they can get the most value from their purchases
- Conduct onboarding training with new customers on site
- Work with product support manager to create content for the 4Sight University
- Take the lead for assigned support tickets from start to finish, communicating resolution to customer and providing feedback to suppliers
- Sales Responsibilities
- Setup and monitor customer demos, to include budget and definition of success with customer and internal stakeholders
- Assist in quoting and ensuring proper equipment configurations are recommended
- Maintain Handle to ensure progress of opportunities is visible throughout the organization
- Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities by prioritizing customer activities and maintaining a proper call schedule
- Utilize data provided to stay current with construction projects in various phases, and engage with the contractor that wins the bid when appropriate
- Maintain Handle, our CRM, to ensure all opportunities are tracked from start to finish
- Other Responsibilities
- Promote the 4Sight University training calendar to customers, both internal and external
- Complete required administrative duties in order to invoice and keep accounts current
- Host training sessions in field, as requested by customers
- Ensure inventory assigned to your vehicle is 100% accurately accounted for at all times
- Maintain demo equipment by keeping it clean and updated with latest firmware/software
- Work with administrative staff daily, to ensure all your time and travel is invoiced appropriately.
Requirements:
- 3+ years industry experience in either concrete or asphalt paving required
- Familiarity with construction positioning technology is viewed favorably
- Prior experience with Topcon Positioning technologies is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical to success in this role
- Ability to communicate effectively with everyone on site, from operators to executives and key stakeholders
- Ability to work remotely for extended periods (5+ days) is required
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 60 pounds
- Able to move freely on/under/around heavy equipment
- Ability to walk unencumbered over construction sites (irregular terrain)
- Stoop, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
- Driving a company vehicle is required for this role
