THE POSITION:
- Posting payments received from insurance companies, patients, and third parties.
- Researching and correcting unapplied payments
- Post ERA, EFT, and paper remits manually and electronically for daily deposits
- Accurately post payments and/or denials and balance to the deposit amounts
- Process and post insurance credit card payments
- Copy denials for AR Specialists
WHO YOU ARE:
- You love numbers, data & people!
- You can enter data quickly (alpha and numeric) - with limited errors
- You have experience in posting medical insurance payments (willing to train the right candidate without experience)
- You are proficient in technology including ten-key by touch, EMR systems, Microsoft office products
- You have the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of insurance company regulations, ERA, EFT, EOB
PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
- Base salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour - depending on experience
