LER TechForce is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to work in Farmington Hills.
This role will require the person to be onsite 2-3 days a week

Job Description: :
- Coordinate/process multi-state weekly payroll, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with company policies, government regulations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Coordinate employee benefits including disability coverage, life and health insurance and leaves of absences.
- Point of contact for queries and requests pertaining to payroll and benefits.
- Enter maintain, and process information in HRIS.
- Weekly preparation and coordination with Payroll Vendor to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of employees pay.
- Process benefit changes and ensure payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support New Hire Orientation & annual benefit renewal and Open Enrollment Process
- Coordinating employee Wellness Challenges
- Track and maintain Leave of Absences for salary employees
- Generate and upload reports to Benefit Providers for HSA/FSA/DCA/401k Funding
- Support Annual reporting requirements for 401(k) and ACA.
- Monthly internal reporting requirements
- Verify and process all insurance billing for payment processing
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+years of payroll processing experience (ADP WFN preferred)
- 2+years of experience as a Benefits Administrator or similar role
- Experience with 401K contributions and reporting
- Knowledge of annual ACA and 1095/1094C reporting
- Working knowledge of all federal and state regulations pertaining to employee benefits compliance (ERISA, COBRA, HIPPAA and other applicable regulations)
- Strong interpersonal , critical thinking , time management MS office , SAP and organizational skills
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, finance, or related field.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Union payroll experience preferred.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
