Our new Texas workshop is seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist, to join our thriving team and operations. As a pivotal member of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for all payroll processes and functions. The Payroll Specialist will assist with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. This position will also provide conscientious and streamlined resolution of employee concerns from onboarding all the way through the life-cycle of the employee experience.
Payroll
- Process and review full-cycle payroll on a bi-weekly basis while ensuring consistent communication and obtaining necessary approvals from HR Director.
- Ensure the integrity of payroll data and record/update employee information.
- Researches and resolves questions for managers, supervisors, and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, included but not limited to, headcount and turnover reports to Finance.
- Maintain personnel and payroll records as set forth in records retention schedules
Benefits Administration
- Audits and maintains accurate benefits payments
- Partner and manage relationship with relocation vendor (processing requests, payments, etc.)
- Deliver Benefit Orientation presentation to new hires
- Partner with leave of absence administrator to handle existing and new claims
- Support Benefits (Benetrac) and COBRA (WexHealth) sites, with processing employee information
- Support open enrollment for workshop (communication, program, vendors, etc.)

PROFIL
- High School Diploma required or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- 3-5 years’ payroll experience is required, manufacturing environment a plus
- Benefits administration experience a plus
- Computer proficient: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point),
- Knowledge of Ultipro, Kronos and JD Edwards preferred
- Bilingual: English and Spanish is required, French is a plus
