Vienna Pediatric Dentistry a single-doctor dental practice located in the heart of Vienna, VA. We are professional, fast-paced and our goal is to excel in the pediatric dental field in a state of the art facility, and collaborate to provide outstanding care for our patients in a safe, fun and bright environment. We utilize the latest technology, including Laser dentistry and Digital radiography and tailor treatments to meet each child’s unique emotional and health care needs.

We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing team of dental professionals. Our company describes its culture as being quality and precision-focused, and team-oriented. We are looking to add a cheerful, energetic and children-loving dental assistant to the team and are willing to train the right candidate. Must be responsible, respectful and ready-to-learn!

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Sterilization and maintaining inventory.
• Setting up for procedures and breaking down rooms for the next appointment.
• Assisting with dental procedures including preventative and restorative care.
• Taking radiographs on young patients.
• Behavior management and coaxing young and anxious patients.

Ideal Candidate:

• Loves working with children
• Reliable and prompt – punctual and present – tardiness not tolerated
• Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others
• Fluent in English with good communication skills
• Basic computer skills required to operate dental program
• X-Ray Certified (preferred)
• Dental Assisting experience (preferred but not required)
• Dental Assisting Certification (preferred but not required)

1 year of clinical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a passion for dentistry and working with children.

Our patients are our most important priority, unpredictable traffic in this area can be difficult to work around, and we MUST begin on time, please consider your commute before applying.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
