Job description

Exodus Recovery, Inc is looking to hire Peer Mentors that function as part of the treatment team and is generally the first program site contact for clients. They are actively involved in providing direct or indirect care and supervision of the clients under the discretion of the Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years experience working with the chronic mentally ill and substance abusers preferred.
• A stable psychiatric condition of a minimum of 12 months and, as applicable, maintenance of continuous sobriety of 24 months or longer.
• Extensive personal and/or professional knowledge of challenges of developing and maintaining a psychiatrically, sober lifestyle.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• High School Grad/or GED
• Peer Advocate Certificate preferred.
