Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Performance Director to join our team. As our new Performance Director, you will:
  • Primary point of contact for client day-to-day operations representative
  • Ensure communication and alignment with Account Management (AM)
  • Execute upon strategic direction jointly developed with AM
  • Oversee operational and staffing implementation of site launches
  • Assure the successful implementation of various deliverables within client account including: proprietary company technologies and other solutions, partner solutions, fitness and wellness solutions, operations management, group fitness, personal training, sports and recreation, and massage
  • Oversee direct reports of Regional Performance Managers, as well as oversee the team of Performance Managers, Assistant Performance Managers, Performance Coaches, Performance Dietitians, including other site level staff depending on account staffing configuration responsible for the delivery of solutions within client accounts
  • Ensure appropriate staffing as per contractual obligations
  • Train and develop site team members to implement programs that demonstrate impact in alignment with company and agreed upon client objectives to assure
  • Primary point of contact for site level staff for internal help desk issues with product/programs - Work with internal resources to create training materials for existing or new operations as needs are identified
  • Conduct performance evaluations for site level staff and maintain performance evaluation documentation
  • Function as the main point of contact for designated sites on methodology needs and product or solutions needs
  • Evaluate designated site level operations and performance, as well as performance of site level staff in alignment with both company and client company objectives to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Craft operational budget with AM, and approve all expenses related to account prior to spend in collaboration with AM
  • Support business growth by consulting on prospective client proposals and represent as a field operations leader during prospective business presentations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate would have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, MA/MS
  • An advanced industry certifications
  • Knowledge of EXOS methodology
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Previous multi-site management experience
  • Strong ability to support and coach remote site team members
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft software
  • Previous experience leading in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • The ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication and follow up skills
  • Strong inclination towards coaching and developing others in ways that leveraging the strengths of the team
  • Knowledge of evolving trends and challenges within fitness and wellness
  • The ability to understand problems and identify solutions with a strong business acumen
  • Be willing and able to use technology to create efficiencies
Physical Requirements:
  • Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements, bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting.
