A reputable healthcare system in the Finger Lakes Region of New York is searching for a Nursing Performance Improvement Manager. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the VP of Nursing and nursing leadership on quality improvement projects. You will also work collaboratively with the Director of Quality and Performance Improvement and the Chief Medical Officer to support the acute care patient safety program. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Administrator of the reporting system and evaluate data, prepare & present reports, and assign investigations to the appropriate parties.
- Collect data on events, facilitate root cause analysis, and identify trends that could impact patient safety.
- Consult with the CMO in completing timely medical record reviews related to patient safety events.
- Assist senior leadership with complaint and grievance process management.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited RN Program.
- A BSN or MSN is preferred.
- Active RN license.
- 4+ years of clinical RN experience
- 1+ years of quality or patient safety experience.
Additional info:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hours; Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
- Pay; 95,000-$99,000.
