Matthew Noah is seeking to build relationships with perfusionists for a trusted partner and guide to creating and maintaining health and well-being.

Overview: The Perfusionist is responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment and providing perfusion services during cardiac and cardiovascular surgery. This role reports to the Executive Director of Surgical Services and works in collaboration with the Cardiothoracic Surgeon group.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Call coverage
• Ability to rotate between 2 hospitals
• Strong teamwork skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• TAVR experience
• Bentall experience
• A minimum of 4 years of experience

Organizational Structure:

• This position reports to the Perfusion Manager.

Variable Compensation:

• Includes a bonus paid at an hourly rate of $19.24 once the candidate is able to take independent call. Until then, compensation will be based on experience.

Physical Demands:

• Requires the physical ability and stamina to perform tasks such as operating highly technical equipment, walking/standing for prolonged periods of time, pushing carts/wheelchairs up to 50 pounds, and positioning/lifting patients (at a maximum of 35 pounds unassisted).
• May be exposed to bio-hazards in a patient care environment.

Education and Experience:

• Requires a successful completion of an approved program in perfusion technology from an accredited college, certification as a Clinical Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or similar accrediting agency, or certification-eligible with sufficient clinical experience to demonstrate competence in the field.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, chemistry, physics, and sterile techniques.
• Requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Pay: Up to $184,748.00 per year
