WHO ARE WE:

Teachers On Demand, INC is an educational staffing and recruiting firm that partners with K-12 schools around the United States. We are committed to assisting schools in the recruitment of high-quality educators on a permanent or substitute basis.

As their primary substitute provider, we are seeking substitute teachers, that are reliable, accountable, and ready, to join our team of educators at our partner school.

Our Pre-K through 7th grade school serves a diverse group of learners across three locations in Wards 5 and 6, uses the EL Education model, which emphasizes interactive, hands-on, project-based learning, and focuses on the whole child.

Requirements

• Minimum BA/BS Degree (required)
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching/tutoring experience within the last 3 years
• Able to cultivate relationships with young scholars in a brief time
• Confident and capable of providing instructions to students, in the absence of the classroom teacher
• Classroom management skills
• Detail-orientated and able to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Able to communicate effectively with other personnel and faculty
• Willing and able to work standing for most of the day with few breaks to sit
• Candidates must be able to work at least three (3) days a week from 8:15am-4:15pm local time.

Compensation: 180.00 per day - 200.00 per day
