Personal Homecare Aide needed for Anchor Home Healthcare.

Anchor Health Homecare of New York, a fully licensed and growing Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area is seeking compassionate individuals to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Anchor Personal Home Healthcare is currently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to support the elderly living in their own homes. If you’re a people-person, we need you now more than ever, to help your neighbor and people in your community to be safe and secure in their own home. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's Care
• No previous experience necessary - skills training will be provided by Anchor Home Healthcare
• Patient needs help with bathing/showing, the bathroom and changing.
• Additional activities including: grooming, going on walks, assist with cooking and more.

Requirements:

• Caregiver must have a car
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and nurturing manner
• Bilingual preferred

Pay: $15.20 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Palenville, NY 12463: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
