Qualifications:
· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
· Demonstrates effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively within a team.
· Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
· Demonstrate close attention to detail.
· Ability to organize and prioritize work.
· Tech savvy and comfortable working in a paperless system.
Responsibilities:
· Responding efficiently and accurately to all clients.
· Meeting with potential clients to obtain facts, gather relevant information, and determine if the case is viable for our firm.
· Daily and proactive interaction with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person.
· Maintaining contact with clients throughout each phase of their case, and notifying them of appointments, changes in benefits, and benefit status.
· Requesting medical records & bills from providers.
· Consistent communication with clients and providers during the course of client treatment.
· Creating/Updating a comprehensive medical history timeline record.
· Communicating with insurance adjusters.
· Preparing Settlement Documents.
· Sending documents to client for signature.
· Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
· Maintaining accurate records of case expenses, payments, and other costs related to client’s file.
· Communicate with healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
· Sending Letters of Representations to the Insurance Companies.
· Sending various letters to Medicaid/Medicare, and other lien holders.
· Confirming medical bill balances, lien balances, and personal injury protection balances.
· Requesting reduction of outstanding medical balances with providers and drafting corresponding letters.
· Maintaining organized case files.
· Electronically saving documents to file.
· File review to ensure all pertinent documents have been saved to the client’s file.
· Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
· Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
· Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
Requirements
* High School Diploma
*2+ years' experience law firm experience
*Exceptional Customer Service
*Great Communication Skills
*Ability to Multi-task, and great time management skills
*Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
* Pre-litigation Case Manager Experience (Preferred)
*Bilingual (English/Spanish Preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $38,000-$48,000
