Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides daily supervision of sales and service staff focusing on new business growth, customer retention and customer services. Coordinates with management to develop strategic planning for the agency. Works with various banking units to maintain flow of new business referrals.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Responsible for staff development, , training, supervision and performance management review of assigned staff. Able to develop and structure a highly effective and skilled insurance team.
- Coordinates staff access with insurance carriers.
- Administers agency management system uploads and downloads (ie., Applied Epic)
- Develops relationships with the insurance carriers.
- Develops relationships with the banking units and provides reports as needed to document results.
- Provides reports as needed to document results.
- Continually access workflows for efficiency and consistency.
- Completes all compliance training related to the position.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Five (5) to eight (8) years Personal Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
- Prior sales, sales management and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiar with Applied Agency Management Systems (ie., Applied Epic).
- Knowledge of insurance industry.
- Good PC skills-proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer service oriented.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Property & Casualty license.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.
