Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of Pharmaceutical services to the patient. The scope of patient care provided includes: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
  • Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
  • Post Baccalaureate education in hospital pharmacy practice preferred. e.g., Residency programs for senior staff.
  • Starting in January 2013, all new hires require Bachelor's Degree, preferably in pharmacy or related field.

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $62.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
