Job description:
Functions as a pharmacist at the retail pharmacy and provides efficient, accurate, and safe medication services to petients/customers by feeling physicians prescriptions after evaluating individual medical needs, consulting appropriate references, and counseling physicians and other health professionals, if needed. Assumes overall responsibility for the pharmacy by delegating authority to pharmacy technicians and other non-clinical stuff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Pharmacy or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.)
- Immunization certification.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing.
- Knowledge of PioneerRx is plus.
- Knowledge of Russian/Ukrainian languages is plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes resposibility for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients by interpriting prescriptions, making neccessary professional determinations regarding medications and various drug interactions, drug utilization review, generic substitution, and accurately feeling and dispensing the prescription.
- Enters patient medical, demografic, and insurance information to ensure a complete, updated medication profile and adequate payment for services.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical related issues and providing health care counseling.
- Coordinates and supervises all activities at the pharmacy including professional competence, services rendered, and work performed accordance with regulatory standards.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
